Terms of Use — 3DGEN (3dgenapp.com)

Last updated: 29 August 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Serhii Sholomii, the operator of 3dgenapp.com ("3DGEN", "we", "us"), governing your use of the website and generators at 3dgenapp.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

3DGEN lets you generate printable 3D models (such as molds, nameplates, and cutters) by adjusting parameters or uploading your own STL. Everything runs in your browser and there is nothing to install. The Service is provided free of charge.

2. Accounts (optional)

You can use the generators for free without an account. Signing in is optional and unlocks extras such as a higher download allowance. Sign-in is passwordless — Google or a one-time email link — and the only personal detail we store is your email address (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity under your account. Please provide an email you control, and use one account per person. Paid tiers (Pro and Founder) are available and are billed through our payment provider, Paddle (see "Paid plans, billing and refunds" below).

3. Your uploads

If you upload your own files (such as an STL, font, or logo), you are responsible for having the right to use them. These files are processed only in your browser to produce your model — they are not uploaded to, stored on, reused, shared, or sold by us. You remain solely responsible for complying with any license attached to fonts, logos, or models you upload.

4. Usage rights — personal, non-commercial use only

Read this section carefully — it defines what you may and may not do with the models you generate.

In short: on the free plan, make things for yourself, keep the 3DGEN mark, and don't sell or share the files. Pro and Founder add a commercial license and let you drop the mark or use your own logo — but the generated files themselves are still not for resale or redistribution.

5. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break, overload, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service; don't use automated or bulk requests against it; and don't use it for anything unlawful or to infringe anyone's rights.

6. Use at your own risk; no warranty

The generators and their output are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. Generated models are a technical aid and must be checked before you manufacture anything. We don't guarantee that a model will be error-free, watertight, printable, dimensionally accurate, or fit for any particular purpose, or that the Service will always be available or bug-free. 3D printing and casting involve heat, chemicals, resins, and equipment — always follow the safety guidance of your printer, materials, and tools. You use the generators, and everything you make with them, at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 3DGEN and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service or of any model you generate — including wasted materials, failed prints, damaged equipment, injury from casting or printing, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss. The Service is free; you rely on its output at your own discretion.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account by contacting us. We may suspend or restrict access to the Service, or to an account, if these Terms are breached or if use is abusive, unlawful, or harmful to the Service or other users.

9. Third-party services

The Service links to external services such as Discord, and relies on providers such as Supabase, Resend, Sentry, Netlify, and Paddle (payments). Those services have their own terms and policies, which apply when they are used. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Paid plans, billing and refunds

Pro is a recurring subscription (monthly or yearly); Founder is a one-time purchase that grants lifetime Pro access, offered in a limited number of seats. The current price is always shown at checkout before you pay. Paid plans remove the "3DGEN" mark, allow your own logo, and include the commercial license described in section 4.

Payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), which acts as our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle is therefore the seller of record for your order, collects and remits any applicable taxes or VAT, and issues your receipt; your checkout is also subject to Paddle's own buyer terms.

You can cancel Pro at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Ukraine have jurisdiction over any dispute — except that this does not remove any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your own country of residence.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The current version, with the date it was last updated, will always be posted on this page. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the current Terms.

13. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in full force.
